Responsibilities
- Prepare façade shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.
- Design aluminium, glass, ACP, curtain wall, cladding, louver, and steel façade systems.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Develop sections, elevations, plans, fixing details, and connection details.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, site teams, fabrication teams, and project teams.
- Review architectural and structural drawings for technical issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare material take-offs and quantity calculations; support estimation teams with technical details and material requirements.
- Revise drawings following consultant or client comments, obtain approvals, and maintain drawing records and revision control.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in façade design or detailing.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium, glass, ACP, curtain wall, louver, and steel façade systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or 3D software is an advantage.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of façade fabrication and installation is preferred; UAE experience is an advantage.
- UAE driving licence is described as preferred/required depending on the position, so the requirement is unclear.
Compensation
- The description states pay of AED 0.10–1.00 per month; the stated amount appears anomalous.
