Key Responsibilities
- Creates technical drawings or designs for equipment, structures, electronics, and processes. Coordinates with Engineering to ensure the accuracy and usability of plant design documents. Reads, interprets, and applies information from manufacturer’s drawings, catalogs, and other information in creating design documents.
Minimum Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED. Desired: Associate degree in technical design or computer-aided drafting Nuclear Power Plant experience preferred. Must have demonstrated proficiency in drafting standards, symbols, nomenclature, CAD tools, and engineering terms, including the use of materials, reference books and catalogs. Excellent communication skills. Experience / proficiency in PC use and applications, depending upon engineering level. CAD certification or similar training or experience desired.
