Design Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and simulate mechanical components and systems.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analyses.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product development, and R&D teams.
• Select materials and components that align with design requirements.
• Optimize designs for efficiency, cost, and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues during production or testing.
• Assess design briefs and research user needs, market trends, and functionality.
• Develop solutions to user problems and evaluate usability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
• Create CAD-based prototype iterations, conduct usability tests, and modify products based on results.
• Evaluate designs against standards and regulations and stay current with technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as FEA or CFD is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.

• Work is in person.
