Role Description

This is a full-time

6 days a week

on-site role for

Deputy Project Director in Dubai.

The Deputy Project Director reports directly to the Project Director and is primarily responsible for the overall delivery of the project specifically, the management of site wide Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP activities involving the Contractor, Sub-Contractors and Supply Chain.

The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing design and execution functions, and ensuring compliance with project objectives for safety, time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate between Design and Site teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Oversee Contractors, Sub-Consultants, and Sub-Contractors to ensure deliverables meet contractual and quality requirements.
  • Identify and improve project management processes, ensuring adherence to the Project Management Plan (PMP).
  • Lead and motivate discipline heads and technical teams for effective performance.
  • Act as a key interface with the Employer and other stakeholders to resolve project-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent Leadership skills with experience overseeing multi-disciplinary project teams, managing resources, and delivering projects on time and budget.
  • Engineering or Architecture knowledge, with experience in design, construction, and project management in the built environment sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related fields with at least 15 years of experience in project management and leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
