Deputy Field Engineering Manager

Work arrangement

• Telework type is full-time office/project; the stated work location is Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project safety culture and enforce company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Support quality audits, checkpoints, factory acceptance testing, and inspections for compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, codes, and contract requirements.
• Provide constructability input during contract formation, bidding, evaluation, and award.
• Analyze contract terms to identify risks, ambiguities, conflicts, and scope deviations; recommend mitigations and help carry out remedial actions.
• Coordinate engineering disciplines on field data, analysis, and resolutions for surveying and metrology conditions.
• Support field engineering across earthwork, concrete structures, mechanical equipment, and underground wet and dry utilities.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and validate pre-mobilization submittals.
• Oversee field engineers reviewing technical submittals, inspections, and testing; assist with field change requests and change orders.
• Develop processes for acceptance of completed work and represent the client in technical meetings with contractors.

Candidate profile

• Requires full working knowledge of construction engineering practices.
• Requires strong organizational and teamwork skills and proven problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to direct less experienced multidisciplinary field engineers and construction office personnel.
