Construction Project Engineer

Work location and schedule

• Work location is Riyadh; the posting identifies a full-time office/project telework arrangement.
• Project work operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week; night shifts and weekend work are required.

Project overview

Role responsibilities

• Support construction planning, work packaging, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, technical inspection and system turnover.
• Coordinate construction issues, monitor site safety and quality, interpret drawings, review vendor information, and help verify contractor work.
• Review material quantities and field changes; coordinate deliveries, storage, schedules, meetings and daily reporting.
• Review method statements and safety submissions, support stakeholder interfaces, and monitor installation against drawings and specifications.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, including earthworks, underground utilities and associated structures, or road construction.
• GCC experience is required; KSA experience is ideal.

Knowledge and skills

• Basic understanding of contract administration, correspondence, claims analysis and construction negotiation.
• Knowledge of subcontract use and contractor/subcontractor responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, manage priorities and meet accelerated schedules.
• Spoken and written English communication skills and ability to work in a culturally diverse organization.
