Please note:
This position is based on AMAALA Island, a remote and exclusive destination on the Red Sea.
Candidates must be comfortable living and working in a remote island environment.
What We'Re Looking For
- Prior experience as a Demi Chef or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining venue
- A genuine passion for food, cooking, and culinary craftsmanship
- Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead and guide junior team members in a professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good English communication skills (Arabic a plus)

- High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Strong team spirit with a proactive and ownership-driven attitude
- Ability to take initiative and support the Chef in section management
- Attention to detail in every step of the service and preparation journey
- Pride in contributing to exceptional culinary experiences from start to finish
Responsibilities Include
- Preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards under the direction of the Chef
- Ensuring recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines are followed accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations
- Supporting stock management, mise en place, and kitchen setup
- Assisting in supervising and mentoring Commis Chefs
- Supporting opening and closing duties
