Demi Chef de Partie

, you will support the Pastry team in preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked items according to established recipes and standards.

Also, you will assist in daily production, ensure consistency in taste and presentation, and maintain cleanliness within the pastry kitchen.

And you will also help in mise en place and ensure a smooth operation during service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked items as per standard recipes.
  • Support daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are properly prepared and stored.
  • Always maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
  • Assist in stock control, proper storage, and minimizing food waste.

About You

  • Experience in pastry preparation, baking, and dessert production is required.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Commitment to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Pastry, Bakery, or Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Basic Food Safety or HACCP certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, hotel, or restaurant environment.
