Demi Chef De Partie

, you will support the bakery team in preparing and producing high-quality bakery items according to established recipes and operational standards.

Also, you will assist in daily production, maintain consistency in product quality and presentation, and ensure efficient bakery operations.

And you will also support mise en place activities and maintain hygiene and food safety standards within the bakery section.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and baking breads, rolls, pastries, and other bakery products according to standard recipes.
  • Support daily mise en place and ensure ingredients and bakery items are prepared and stored correctly.
  • Monitor product quality, consistency, freshness, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the bakery section.
  • Support stock control, minimize wastage, and ensure proper use of bakery equipment and supplies.

About You

  • Good knowledge of bakery production techniques, dough preparation, and baking methods.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation being able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Commitment to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Pastry, Bakery, or Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Certification in Food Safety, HACCP and additional bakery training or certification is an added is an advantage.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a bakery section within a hotel, or restaurant environment.
