The company is hiring a detail-oriented, analytical Demand Planner for a hands-on planning role in Dubai.
The work includes sales forecasting, purchase planning, inventory monitoring, replenishment, shipment tracking, and reporting.
Demand planning and coordination
- Analyze historical sales and prepare monthly demand forecasts by SKU and brand.
- Calculate stock needs based on sales trends, inventory, incoming shipments, and supplier lead times; recommend purchases and replenishment.
- Maintain Excel forecasting and purchase-planning reports and coordinate with Brand Managers and Sales Teams on promotions, listings, and demand.
- Monitor stock levels, coverage, availability, shortages, slow-moving or excess inventory, and shipment arrival dates.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, analyze SKU sales and inventory movements, highlight risks and replenishment needs, and maintain accurate planning data.
- Coordinate with Brand Managers, Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams on stock and shipment priorities; support management with purchase and inventory analysis.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment, or supply chain analysis experience; 1–2 years is preferred.
- Hands-on experience maintaining Excel-based inventory, sales, or purchase-planning reports is mandatory.
- Strong Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, formulas, and data analysis, is essential.
- Understanding of sales forecasting, stock coverage, inventory management, replenishment planning, and SKU-level sales and inventory data.
- Trading, distribution, FMCG, retail, or consumer-products experience is preferred; UAE/GCC experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, accuracy, independent reporting, deadline management, communication, and organization are required.
- Tally or inventory-management-system experience is advantageous.
Compensation
- The posting states pay of up to AED 5,000 per month.
- An application question separately refers to a maximum salary of AED 4,000 per month.
