Savora Food Industry is a manufacturer of leading brands Elvy of flavored syrup, fruit puree, chocolate & sauces, sugar sticks, and flavored slush.
We are seeking a responsible and punctual Delivery Van Driver to ensure the safe and timely delivery of products to various destinations within UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to designated delivery location.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Verify and load delivery items accurately based on delivery instructions and invoices.
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery van.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure the safety of self, others, and the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery statuses.
- Handle delivery paperwork, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and cash receipts.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods.
- Report any vehicle issues, traffic violations, or accidents promptly to the management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar delivery role.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
- Experience in cash handling and receipt issuance.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical work.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
