Delivery Van Driver

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products, food orders, or materials safely and on time.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
• Ensure all deliveries are complete and accurate before dispatch.
• Load and unload items carefully to avoid damage.
• Verify invoices, delivery notes, and customer signatures when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the delivery vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Follow UAE traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, branch staff, and customers regarding deliveries.
• Handle company property and cash transactions responsibly when applicable.
• Report accidents, delays, traffic violations, or operational issues immediately.
• Ensure proper temperature and food safety standards for food deliveries if applicable.
• Assist in basic operational tasks when required by management.

Job Requirementseducation

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years driving experience, preferably in delivery or restaurant operations.

License Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License (Manual/Automatic as required).

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi/UAE roads and locations.
• Safe and responsible driving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow schedules and instructions.
• Physically fit for loading and unloading items.
• Honest, punctual, and dependable.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor and road-based work environment.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
• May involve long driving hours and multiple delivery trips daily.
