**Il Forno Restaurant Group** is looking for a **highly skilled Accountant** with strong experience in **UAE VAT and Tax regulations** to join our Head Office team.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Handle VAT filing, tax return submissions, and ensure compliance with FTA regulations
- Support corporate tax preparation and audit processes
- Track and analyze financial performance across all branches
- Coordinate with branch-level accountants to consolidate financial data
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial records
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of accounting experience (experience in the F&B or hospitality industry is an advantage)
- **Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations**
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems)
- Excellent Excel skills and financial reporting capabilities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be currently based in the UAE (immediate joiners preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience
- Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
