Job Description
K4 Technical Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated Decor Painting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supervising decor painting projects and ensuring high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all painting works related to fit-out projects, including:
- Wall and ceiling painting (emulsion, enamel, PU, epoxy, etc.)
- Decorative and special finishes
- Wood and metal painting/polishing
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals before execution
- Plan daily site activities and assign tasks to painters and helpers
- Ensure proper surface preparation (putty, sanding, priming, sealing)
- Monitor ongoing work to maintain quality standards and project timelines
- Conduct inspections and ensure snag-free handover
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other trades (carpentry, MEP, gypsum, etc.)
- Ensure correct application techniques and compliance with manufacturer guidelines
- Control material usage and minimize wastage
- Maintain tools, equipment, and painting materials on site
- Prepare daily progress reports and update management
- Identify and rectify defects, touch-ups, and rework requirements
- Train workers on painting techniques and safe work practices
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant certification in Painting / Construction / Finishing works
- 4–8 years of experience in fit-out or interior finishing projects
- Strong knowledge of paints, coatings, and finishing systems
- Experience in commercial, residential, or retail fit-out projects
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Good leadership and team supervision skills
- Knowledge of UAE site practices and safety standards
