7-12+ years in banking database engineering or administration
Database Platform Engineering
Design, install, configure and administer Oracle database environments for FLEXCUBE and related
systems across all environments.
Implement Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and GoldenGate for high availability, disaster recovery
and replication.
Define and execute backup, recovery and archival strategies using RMAN and enterprise backup
tools.
Manage database patching, upgrades and configuration baselines.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
7-12+ years in database engineering or administration, with significant time in banking.
Experience supporting a large core banking implementation or migration.
Experience managing mission-critical Oracle databases with strict availability requirements.
Technical Skills
Oracle 19c or later, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate and Exadata.
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL tuning.
RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, AWR and ASH.
Linux administration and shell or Python scripting.
Exposure to PostgreSQL, SQL Server or cloud-managed databases on Azure.
Data masking and database security tooling.
Preferred Certifications
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator.
Oracle Exadata Database Machine certification.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
Skills: Oracle 19c , RAC , Data Guard
