The Opportunity

Schedule and Term

• Job location is Calgary, Alberta, at the Head Office.
• Work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
• Term length is 8 months and the term starts in May 2027.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Key Accountabilities

• Design forecasting models and apply machine learning to historical data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Use data orchestration tools such as Prefect to manage data processing workflows and support exploratory data analysis.
• Build interactive dashboards with Plotly Dash and Power BI to present forecasts and insights.
• Clean and preprocess data, addressing anomalies, missing values, and outliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, integrate data, and support operational improvements.

What You Bring to the Role

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering.
• Completed formal training related to data science.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
