Key responsibilities
- Scope business use cases and determine suitable analytics, AI, and automation technologies.
- Provide hands-on guidance and co-develop self-service analytics and AI solutions, including Copilot agents and Power BI reports.
- Coach users on approved architecture patterns, standards, limitations, and risks.
- Create training materials, examples, and reusable learning resources; deliver workshops, demonstrations, office hours, and enablement sessions.
- Measure adoption, gather feedback, and improve user success.
- Research emerging AI and analytics technologies and assess practical business applications.
- Facilitate AI risk assessments and governance reviews with Information Security, Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders.
- Help solution owners apply AI governance standards, policies, and required controls.
Education and experience
- A bachelor's degree is required; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Requires 8+ years of relevant experience developing analytics, reporting, automation, application, or AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- Requires effective work with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization and a structured, process-oriented approach adaptable to changing technology and business needs.
- The role calls for curiosity, initiative, continuous learning, persistence, experimentation, and sound judgment in evaluating emerging technology.
Workplace and travel
- This is an onsite position at Simplot headquarters in Boise, Idaho.
- Travel required is less than 10%.
