This is a full-time, on-site Data Privacy Specialist - مسؤول حماية البيانات role based in Jeddah.
The Data Privacy Specialist will oversee the organization’s data privacy program, ensuring adherence to applicable privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Daily responsibilities include assessing data processing activities, conducting privacy impact assessments, and identifying risks related to personal data handling.
The role will draft, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, and notices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design in systems and processes.
The specialist will respond to data subject requests, support incident and breach response activities, deliver privacy training and awareness sessions, and prepare reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Data Privacy and practical experience applying privacy principles in organizational settings.
- Proven experience with Privacy Regulations and Privacy Compliance, including implementing and monitoring compliance programs.
- Ability to design, draft, and maintain clear and effective Privacy Policies, procedures, and related documentation.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating data flows, assessing risks, and interpreting regulatory requirements.
- Relevant certification(s) in data privacy or information security (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, ISO 27701, or equivalent) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, information security, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jeddah, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage multiple privacy initiatives simultaneously.
