Your Role

• We are seeking a skilled Data Privacy professional to join our team, specializing in the intersection of Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• This role is critical in ensuring that our data-driven and AI-powered initiatives comply with privacy regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data privacy laws, AI technologies, and risk management practices.
• Develop and implement data privacy strategies for AI and data analytics projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Assess privacy risks associated with AI models, machine learning algorithms, and large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, Legal, Compliance) to integrate privacy-by-design principles into AI solutions.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for new and existing AI systems.
• Monitor and audit data usage within AI workflows to detect and mitigate unauthorized access or misuse.
• Advise on data minimization, anonymization, and pseudonymization techniques to protect sensitive information.
• Stay current with evolving privacy laws, AI ethics guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Develop and deliver training to staff on data privacy and responsible AI use.

Your Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in data privacy, data protection, or information security, ideally within AI or data analytics environments.
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their application to AI systems.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their data requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex privacy concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and mitigate privacy risks in innovative technologies.
• Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or similar.
• Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and data governance frameworks.
• Understanding of AI ethics, fairness, and transparency.
• Project management skills and experience working in agile environments.
