Employment Type : 3 months extendable contract on Dautom Payroll
What You Will Be Doing
- Design the enterprise data model and map multiple source systems into a canonical model (UDM/GIM) on an Informatica stack.
- Implement data quality measures - Source profiling, transformation rules, and handling granularity mismatches and derived/composite fields.
- Develop and optimize ETL/data pipelines for seamless data movement across systems.
- Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Implement data modeling and data architecture best practices.
- Work with cloud platforms to build and deploy scalable data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Utilize Spark and Kafka for data processing and analytics.
- Ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and transformation of large-scale datasets.
Key Requirements
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong Data Engineering (DE) foundation including medallion architecture, SCDs
- Experience with any cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Strong understanding of logical and physical data modelling (not just star schema)
- Good knowledge of industry modelling like Party / Event / Location / Classification / Resource Item supertypes.
Technical Skills
- Experience with data modelling tools - Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or SQL Developer Data Modeler
- Experience with ETL and data pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
- Database management experience
- Good to have: Experience in canonical/industry reference model for e.g. IBM IIW-style supertypes; experience mapping many disparate sources into one enterprise model.
