What is NATS? NATS is the UK’s leading Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP). Every year we handle around 2.5 million flights and over 300 million passengers travelling in UK airspace. With four specialist pathways available, you can choose the route that best aligns with your degree background, strengths and career aspirations: • Data, Insights & Performance: Turn operational data into insights that support performance and decision-making. • Service Delivery & Operational Leadership: Build skills in customer engagement, service delivery and operational improvement. • Airports Engineering, Projects & Change Delivery: Support engineering projects, infrastructure improvements and operational change. • Airports Commercial & Business Development: Help develop customer relationships, partnerships and opportunities for business growth. You’ll work alongside operational and performance specialists to understand what data tells us about the delivery of critical air traffic services. By analysing datasets, identifying trends and presenting your findings, you’ll help teams understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Depending on your rotations, you could develop dashboards, help define performance measures and contribute to process improvements. You’ll learn how to turn analysis into clear, useful insights in a safety-critical operational environment.
