Role overview
Full-time, on-site Data Center Architect role based in Dubai.
Design and optimize data center infrastructure to meet customer and internal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop reference architectures, evaluate technologies, and produce detailed designs, diagrams, and documentation.
- Coordinate with sales, pre-sales, and engineering to translate business needs into data center solutions.
- Guide implementation and commissioning, and support project reviews, performance assessments, and continuous improvement.
- Support reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in data center and solution architecture, including scalable and energy-efficient designs.
- Hands-on infrastructure design experience covering power, cooling, racks, cabling, and physical layouts.
- Knowledge of data center networking, including switching, routing, and security.
- Proficiency creating detailed design documents, diagrams, and bills of materials.
- Experience with data center standards, tier classifications, redundancy models, safety, and compliance frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, networking, or infrastructure certifications are advantageous.
- Cross-functional collaboration, clear technical communication, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.
