Data Architect (Oracle Fusion & Microsoft BI Stack)

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integration
• o Access and extract data from Oracle Fusion Database with a solid understanding of its table structures.
• o Design and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• o Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the import process.

• Data Architecture & Modeling

• o Develop and maintain a robust star schema in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• o Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• o Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data models.
• o Design and maintain database tables to support structured and scalable data storage.
• **Analytics & Visualization**
• o Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• o Deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics and data storytelling.
• o Create and manage paginated reports for detailed, print-ready reporting needs.
• o Support self-service BI initiatives across the organization.

• Collaboration & Governance

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of professional experience in data architecture, data integration, and BI solutions.
• At least 3 years of direct experience with Oracle Fusion Database, including table structures and data relationships.
• Proven ability to access and import data from Oracle Fusion into enterprise data warehouses.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Experience in database table design for scalable and efficient data storage.
• Ability to build paginated reports for detailed reporting requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or other cloud-based data warehouses.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and security best practices.
• Background in enterprise-scale BI implementations.
