Role Focus As a Senior Business Analyst in our Data Analytics practice, you will support and lead data-driven consulting workstreams, helping clients turn complex data into clear, actionable insight. You will work across a variety of engagements, developing both your analytical toolkit and your client-facing skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will report to the Data & Insights Associate and work closely with senior consultants and client stakeholders. This is a role for someone who is technically strong, commercially curious, and ready to take real ownership.

Key Responsibilities Analysis & Client Delivery

• Collect, clean, and analyse complex datasets from financial systems, CRMs, and other sources to surface meaningful insights
• Build dashboards, models, and automated reports that support client decision-making
• Develop KPI frameworks and translate analytical findings into clear, structured outputs for senior stakeholders
• Integrate data-driven insights into client presentations and strategic recommendations
• Support engagement leads in managing workstreams, timelines, and quality of deliverables

Technical Execution

• Write optimised SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Use Python or R for more complex data processing and automation tasks
• Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools
• Contribute to data governance, documentation, and reproducibility standards

Firm Building

• Contribute to internal knowledge assets, methodologies, and analytical templates
• Support business development through data-driven insights and proposals
• Help mentor junior analysts on structured thinking and quality standards

Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or consulting, ideally within financial services or fintech
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for data analysis
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and dashboard development
• Advanced Excel skills for modelling and reporting
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business language for non-technical audiences
• Structured thinker with strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with multiple concurrent priorities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or similar)
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Databricks) or ETL processes
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and how they can accelerate analytical workflows
• Experience working in or advising GCC financial institutions
