About This Role
Job Purpose
The Data Analytics & Business Support Specialist is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support business decision-making.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reporting, identify trends, and improve operational efficiency through data-driven solutions.
Job Accountabilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support business operations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems
- Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver relevant insights
- Support operational teams with data-driven recommendations
- Assist in business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting workflows
- Recommend tools and solutions to enhance data quality and efficiency
- Contribute to the development of best practices in data management

Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certification (e.g., Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
- Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma is advantageous.
- Data Analytics certificate.
- High proficiency in English/Business correspondence required.
Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar role
- Proven leadership experience managing Data analytics.
- Strong background in business analysis, KPI development, and performance reporting.
- Supply Chain Experience is added advantage.
Training & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
