Role overview

Data Analyst role for the Nagarro client, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Three-month contract with possible extension; five days per week onsite.

Pay rate is $60–$64 per hour on C2C, all-inclusive.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation.
  • Create ad hoc reports and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries for extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Work with Data Engineering and Data Science teams on analytics initiatives.
  • Support predictive analytics, AI-driven insights, and business performance monitoring.
  • Document business rules, metric definitions, and analytical processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to business and leadership teams.

Required skills

  • Strong SQL and data analysis expertise.
  • Python with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar visualization tools.
  • Advanced Excel and data reporting skills.
  • Data modeling and data warehousing concepts; statistical analysis and business metrics interpretation.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse.
  • Snowflake is explicitly listed as a must-have skill.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Four to eight years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting roles.

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is listed as preferred, while Snowflake is separately identified as a must-have.
  • Exposure to Generative AI, AI-powered analytics, and natural language querying.
  • Knowledge of PySpark, large-scale data processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience with Streamlit, Jupyter Notebooks, and self-service analytics platforms.

Workplace

  • Complete five-day-a-week onsite role in Atlanta, Georgia.
