Work in the UK Data Management Team, focusing specifically on LH1 valuation data.
Work with Lead Analysts to support data updates and delivery.
Translate and validate client data, produce CLR-ready valuation portfolio data, and provide analysis and reports to internal valuation clients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage data transformation scripts; cleanse, profile, map, and mine valuation portfolio data.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and support data and reporting requirements for process improvements and projects.
- Keep client data consistent and aligned with treaty arrangements; monitor data availability, quality, and consistency.
- Improve team processes and tools, liaise with internal clients, identify data weaknesses, and support corrections.
- Document detailed data business requirements, manage work priorities and expectations, and produce quality written and numerical materials.
- Work independently or with colleagues and keep workstream data accurate and current.
Essential skills and experience
- Demonstrable data processing, handling, and analysis skills, with professional experience as a Data Analyst.
- SQL scripting, R, Python, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Cloud-based data platform experience, such as Azure or Databricks, and Git/version control practices.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills for complex data issues.
Desirable experience
- Understanding of insurance or reinsurance business is desirable.
Work arrangement
