What you will do
- Assess applications for low-rise residential developments up to three storeys within your RBI class banding.
- Manage client contact during design and amendments during construction, supporting Building Regulations compliance.
- Monitor project checks, statutory consultations and design evidence.
- Support applications for other development types under supervision and help resolve technical or compliance issues.
- Advise Risk Management Surveyors and carry out inspections within registration scope.
- Support regional inspectors, quality monitoring, audits, house type approvals, quotations and client relationships.
What you bring
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant construction standards.
- Ability to inspect sites and assess construction quality and building defects.
- Communication, relationship-building, commercial awareness and collaborative working skills.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise, meet deadlines and use initiative.
- Minimum Associate-level or similar surveying qualification, such as AssocRICS, TechCIOB, Grad CABE, ACABE or equivalent; ambition to progress towards chartered membership.
- Registration as a minimum Class 2A Registered Building Inspector.
