Duties and responsibilities
- Manage the analytics lifecycle from requirements gathering through reporting.
- Use Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and ArcGIS for data collection, management, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
- Develop analytics products for strategic initiatives, projects, and evaluations.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests and assist with special tasks during emergency events.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to align analysis with organizational objectives.
- Research and communicate findings through reports, dashboards, other reporting formats, and presentations.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of data-project experience across collection, management, querying, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
- One year using Excel, SQL, R, Python, and Power BI or similar tools.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Knowledge of Excel, SQL, R, Python, and Power BI or similar data-analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in resolving complex issues and initiating tasks independently.
- Proficiency in collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and presenting data.
