Our client is well established multi-national gas company offering international services in 10 countries worldwide.
Role Description
The data analyst shall transform raw data into actionable insights, driving critical business decisions.
To clean datasets, build interactive dashboards, and identify market trends.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources (ERP, Excel, CSV, text files, databases)
- Build automated data pipelines using
Power Query And Python And Sql
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems
- Develop advanced data models using
Power Pivot And Dax
- Perform complex calculations for: Profitability analysis, Price / margin analysis, Cost allocations & Business performance tracking
- Support FP&A team with deep-dive analysis and insights
- Design and maintain dynamic dashboards in
Power Bi
- Develop interactive reports for: Revenue / EBITDA tracking, Business unit performance and KPI monitoring
- Automate recurring reports to reduce manual effort
- Build and maintain
- Budgeting & Forecast input tools
- Develop
- consolidation models including eliminations
- Support implementation of
- allocation models and financial reporting frameworks
- Create scalable templates for business units
- Connect to structured datasets and data warehouses
- Extract and integrate data from ERP systems and other platforms
- Work closely with IT to improve data architecture and accessibility
- Work with FP&A, commercial, and operations teams to understand requirements
- Translate business needs into data models and dashboards
- Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum
- 1–3 years of experience in FP&A analytics / BI / data analyst role
Required Skills
- **Power BI (advanced)**
- – dashboards, visuals, measures
- **DAX (advanced)**
- – calculations, modelling
- **Power Query / M (advanced)**
- **Power Pivot / Excel (advanced)**
- Experience in handling large datasets and data transformation
- Python (Pandas) or similar scripting language
- SQL / database querying
- Exposure to ERP systems (D365, SAP, etc.)
- Understanding of data warehouse / data models
