Job Title: Data Analyst – Core Banking (Flexcube / Finacle)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Data Analyst
with hands-on experience in
core banking systems such as Oracle Flexcube or Finacle
.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing banking data, generating insights, supporting business decisions, and working closely with stakeholders across technology and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from
- core banking systems (Flexcube / Finacle)
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and MIS for business and operational teams
- Write complex
- SQL queries
- to retrieve and manipulate data from databases
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements
- Provide insights into customer behavior, transactions, and banking operations
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements
- Collaborate with IT teams for data integration, migration, and system enhancements
- Assist in data warehousing and ETL processes where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field
- 3–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in
- banking or financial services
- Strong hands-on experience with
Oracle Flexcube or Finacle
- Advanced proficiency in
SQL
- and database management (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as
- Power BI, Tableau, or Excel dashboards
- Good understanding of
- banking products and processes
(CASA, Loans, Payments, etc.)
- Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in
- data warehousing concepts
- and ETL tools
- Knowledge of
- Python or R
- for data analysis (optional but advantageous)
- Familiarity with
- regulatory reporting and compliance
- in banking
- Exposure to
- data migration projects
- in core banking systems
