The position is hybrid, with two days reporting to the head office in Vaughan, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, gather requirements, and shape analytical solutions.
- Own scalable reporting and BI solutions, including design, development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement.
- Build dashboards, scorecards, and governed self-service analytics experiences.
- Analyze large enterprise datasets with advanced SQL and partner with Data Engineering on reusable data assets.
- Lead discovery workshops defining questions, users, metrics, data needs, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences; identify trends, root causes, and process improvements.
- Use AI-enabled tools to automate workflows and accelerate insights; monitor emerging analytics and AI trends.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL development, complex queries, performance optimization, and enterprise reporting experience.
- Extensive dashboard and visual analytics experience using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or a similar platform.
- Knowledge of dashboard UX, advanced filtering, drill-downs, and self-service analytics.
- Experience with cloud analytics platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake, and understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, stakeholder alignment, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Agile delivery, cross-functional work, AI-assisted development, and prompt engineering.
- A related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred; 5+ years in analytics or BI is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Looker and Google Cloud Platform experience are preferred.
- SAP data structures, process-mining platforms such as Celonis, and knowledge of machine learning or generative and agentic AI are preferred.
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, supply chain, or commercial analytics experience is preferred.
- Experience mentoring analysts or leading analytical workstreams is preferred.
Compensation
- Anticipated pay range is CAD 81,300 to CAD 119,130; the source does not specify a pay cadence.
- The role is eligible for a performance-based annual bonus; awards are not guaranteed.
