Role Description
We are looking for a skilled
Cyber Security Specialist
to protect our organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures, monitoring systems, and responding to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches or suspicious activity
- Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Ensure data protection, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Manage user access control and identity management
- Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in cyber security or IT security roles
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or similar)
- Understanding of compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Security certifications
