Role Overview

Customer Engagement and Sales

• Welcome and engage customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
• Interview customers to understand financial and personal needs and match appropriate financial, leasing, or service solutions.
• Communicate lease and credit terms and conditions and educate customers about credit-building opportunities.
• Maximize sales of financial services and home goods, including through cross-selling.

Account Management and Collections

• Open accounts, update records, process payments, and monitor overdue accounts.
• Secure required contract information and evaluate applicants' financial status and ability to repay.
• Conduct collection activities with empathy and professionalism.
• Follow up on missed payments and negotiate repayment terms where applicable.
• Build long-term customer relationships to increase trust and retention.

Retail Operations

• Maintain merchandising standards, showroom setup, pricing, promotions, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Assemble and disassemble electronics and home furnishings as needed.
• Coordinate delivery paperwork and accurate lease and finance application documentation.
• Assist with merchandise delivery, collection activities, and administrative duties outside the store.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
• Sales-oriented mindset with ability to meet targets and drive results.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred, especially in retail, finance, or leasing.
• Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
• Availability for shifts between 10am and 7pm, Monday through Saturday.
• Comfort with sales calls, collections, and difficult customer conversations.
• Successful criminal, employment, and credit background checks are required.

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds is an asset.
• A driver's licence is an asset.

Compensation

• Pay range is CAD $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
