Job Summary
The Customer Sales Executive – Supply is responsible for managing customer relationships, sales activities, inventory coordination, ERP data accuracy, and supply chain communications.
The role serves as a key link between customers, sales, stores, procurement, accounts, and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, transparent communication, and excellent customer service.
In addition to handling day-to-day supply operations, the position is responsible for reviewing and preparing quotations, acquiring new customers, developing business opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the supply business.
***Customer Relations & Sales***
- Manage customer inquiries and provide timely quotations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and acquire new customers to expand the company’s client base.
- Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Communicate product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules clearly to customers.
- Coordinate with customers regarding order updates, delivery schedules, and technical requirements.
***Supply Chain & Inventory Coordinatio***
- Ensure regular cycle counts are conducted and inventory records remain aligned with physical stock.
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure all transactions are updated in the ERP system in real time.
- Verify that all new inventory items entered into the ERP system contain complete and accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to maintain inventory accuracy and stock availability.
***ERP & Process Management***
- Ensure compliance with ERP data entry standards and operational procedures.
- Monitor delivery status updates and ensure accurate tracking of customer orders.
- Maintain complete product information and item master records within the ERP system.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital tools and automated workflows.
- Ensure all customer transactions, delivery notes, and documentation are properly recorded and traceable.
***Quotation & Order Management***
- Review and prepare quotations in accordance with customer requirements and company policies.
- Ensure technical and commercial requirements are accurately captured before issuing quotations.
- Coordinate with technical teams for product selection and technical clarifications when required.
- Monitor pending Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Orders (DOs) and follow up to ensure timely closure.
- ***Internal Coordination***
- Work closely with stores, procurement, logistics, accounts, and technical teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Coordinate vessel inspections, deliveries, and service schedules as required.
- Ensure timely handover of delivery documentation and maintain accurate payment status tracking.
- Facilitate communication between customers and technical teams for prompt resolution of inquiries.
- ***Business Development***
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales revenue.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Support management in achieving sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Participate in customer visits, meetings, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, supply chain operations, inventory management, or customer service.
- Experience in the Marine, Oil & Gas, Industrial Services, or Engineering Supply sector will be highly preferred.
