Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Customs Clearance, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding.
- Proven experience managing customs clearance operations in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation.
- Experience dealing with customs authorities, ports, airports, and government agencies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all customs clearance activities for import and export shipments.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Customs regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients.
- Review and verify shipping and customs documentation.
- Monitor clearance timelines and resolve customs-related issues efficiently.
- Lead and supervise the customs clearance team.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.
- Ensure smooth and timely delivery of shipments while minimizing delays and costs.
