Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise CTD and UBD drilling operations at the wellsite.
- Monitor UBD flow conditions and optimize drilling parameters for safe and efficient operations.
- Perform field engineering calculations, flow modeling, and operational analysis.
- Identify and troubleshoot drilling, pressure, and circulation-related issues.
- Maintain accurate daily drilling reports and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with drilling programs, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Liaise with the Drilling Supervisor, Senior UBD Engineer, client representatives, and service companies.
- Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and Permit to Work activities.
- Ensure adherence to Well Control, H2S, and emergency response procedures.
- Provide technical recommendations to improve drilling performance and reduce non-productive time (NPT).
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or other relevant Technical Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of field experience in Coiled Tubing Drilling (CTD), Underbalanced Drilling (UBD), or Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations.
