The Credit Controller supports group operations and growth by managing outstanding debts, working with clients, and supporting financial performance and customer relations.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or a similar field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or collections; UAE market experience is preferred.
- B2B collections experience is preferred; candidates with strong B2C collections experience and transferable skills may also be considered.
- Ability to build strong commercial relationships; excellent negotiation and good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of payment plans and accounting procedures.
Job responsibilities
- Manage full accounts receivable portfolios and collect outstanding invoices across two business divisions and group/FZCO entities.
- Monitor ageing reports and drive collection activities to meet targets.
- Engage customers, negotiate payment arrangements, resolve payment delays, and escalate overdue accounts.
- Report and analyze KPIs, aged receivables, collection performance, customer risks, disputes, cash collection, and debtor days at regular meetings.
- Work with Operations, Shipping, Logistics, and regional teams to resolve disputes and operational issues and improve collections.
- Maintain and improve credit control processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to comply with company policies.
