Creative Visual Design Intern

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design web and mobile interfaces with attention to usability and visual clarity; turn wireframes and product requirements into high-fidelity designs.
• Create digital-product and marketing assets, including social media creatives, presentations, brochures, and flyers.
• Assist with design systems, style guides, reusable UI components, and consistency across product, marketing, and brand touchpoints.
• Support design iterations to improve user experience, visual hierarchy, and usability; create micro-interactions and motion elements when required.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders; follow design standards and timelines, participate in reviews, and incorporate feedback.

Required qualifications and skills

• Pursuing or completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Requires basic UI, visual, and digital-product design knowledge; proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop; understanding of typography, color, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Requires a portfolio showing UI, visual, or creative work, attention to detail, consistency, communication, collaboration, and adaptability.

Preferred skills

• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge and familiarity with design systems or component-based design are preferred.
• Exposure to After Effects or other motion tools, 3D design tools, AutoCAD, or illustration tools is preferred.
• Experience from personal projects, freelance assignments, internships, or academic design projects is relevant.

Compensation

• Compensation is based on skills, portfolio quality, creative aptitude, and interview performance; the employer states flexibility within the advertised range.
• Pay is ₹10,000–₹25,000 per month.
• High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities based on business requirements and internship performance.
