Who You Are
- You’re a creative leader who genuinely loves social. Not just posting on it. Living in it, understanding it, spotting the difference between a trend and a moment, and knowing how to turn that into ideas people actually care about.
- You know how to inspire teams, build confidence in people, and create an environment where good ideas get better. You’re strategic, hands-on, collaborative, and calm under pressure. Basically, the kind of person who can present a big campaign idea at 10am and still jump into a caption brainstorm at 4pm because the TikTok comments have suddenly changed the direction of humanity.
- You care about craft. You care about storytelling. You probably save ads, screenshots, and weirdly good campaign references to your phone like a tiny creative raccoon collecting shiny objects from the internet.
- Most importantly, you believe social content can be smart, entertaining, beautifully crafted, and culturally relevant all at the same time. Wild ambition. We like that.
• Creative Leadership & Vision
- You’ll lead the creative vision across exciting brands and campaigns, helping shape work that feels fresh, social-first, and impossible to ignore.
- You’ll push for ideas that people want to share, talk about, and send to group chats with “this is actually good” attached. Which, honestly, is the closest thing our industry gets to a standing ovation.
• Team Leadership & People Development
- You’ll lead and mentor a talented multidisciplinary creative team, helping people grow their skills, confidence, and careers.
- We’re looking for someone who knows how to bring out the best in others, create a collaborative atmosphere, and make feedback feel motivating instead of emotionally devastating. A rare and magical skill.
• Strategic & Operational Oversight
- You’ll work closely with Strategy, Account Management, and Production to turn ambitious ideas into standout campaigns that deliver real results.
- You’ll help teams stay organised, inspired, and moving forward without turning every project into a “quick sync” that somehow lasts 90 minutes.
• Client Relationship Management
- You’ll be a trusted creative voice for clients, presenting ideas clearly and confidently while building strong relationships along the way.
- You know how to sell brave ideas, navigate feedback gracefully, and explain that “Can we make it go viral?” is not technically a strategy.
• Innovation & Growth
- You’ll help keep Tactical ahead of the curve by exploring new platforms, emerging technologies, AI tools, interactive formats, and whatever the internet decides to invent next week.
- You’ll also play a key role in pitches, proactive ideas, and helping us grow through creativity that feels exciting, relevant, and commercially smart.
- Leadership
- You’ll help shape the culture of the agency by creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and inspired to do their best work.
- Curiosity, collaboration, creative ambition, and kindness matter here. Ego doesn’t. There are already enough people dramatically pacing around creative studios holding oat milk flat whites like they’re directing an Oscar-winning film.
What You’ll Bring
- You’ll bring solid experience leading creative teams within a social-first or integrated agency, along with a portfolio full of standout ideas and campaigns.
- You understand platforms instinctively, thrive in fast-moving environments, and know how to balance creativity with strategic thinking. You’re a confident communicator, a natural collaborator, and someone who gets excited about building work that connects with real people.
- Bonus points if you can spot a trending audio before the rest of us pretend we already knew about it.
