Senior Cost Control Engineer role focused on costs and financial performance across large-scale civil and MEP construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering.
- Evaluate change orders, claims, and variations from a cost perspective.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Commercial, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Monitor resource productivity and project cost efficiency.
- Maintain and improve cost-control processes through ERP and project-management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of construction-industry cost-control experience.
- Strong UAE/GCC experience on major building and infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in civil and MEP cost management; advanced analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and cost-management software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
