Corporate Security Coordinator

Role overview

Security operations and coordination

• Support physical security operations, access control, screening, visitor management, contractor access, and event security.
• Monitor service delivery, maintain site procedures and records, and support inspections, audits, and security checks.
• Coordinate contracted providers and site personnel, operational meetings, service updates, training, and awareness activities.

Risk and incident management

• Assess physical security risks for projects, workplace changes, events, and business activities; track mitigations and escalate concerns.
• Monitor threat information and support asset protection, loss reporting, audits, investigations, and disposal reviews.
• Log and monitor incidents, support investigations and evidence gathering, analyze trends, and track corrective actions.

Emergency preparedness and engagement

• Maintain emergency response and business continuity documentation and support drills, evacuation exercises, and resilience testing.
• Support emergency notification and mass communication systems, record exercise outcomes, and track lessons and follow-up actions.
• Work with internal teams, local law enforcement, emergency services, intelligence-sharing groups, local businesses, and industry partners.

Compliance and governance

• Support monitoring and reporting against corporate security policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Support compliance activities related to the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn's Law), security audits, inspections, and governance reporting.
