Job Summary

  • The Corporate Governance Officer assist, controls, distributes, and archives all related incoming and outgoing correspondences as necessary, including but not limited to correspondences with internal and external authorities according to the Bank’s defined procedures and standards, translating letters to English and/or Arabic, and supporting the Corporate Affairs Team with required matters that may arise. In addition, the Corporate Governance Officer is responsible for maintaining the Bank’s shareholders’ information and database. The role extends to supporting the Head of Shareholder Relationship with shareholder enquiries, and with planning and organizing the Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGM) and/or the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).

  • Maintain the Bank’s shareholders’ information and database
  • Support the Head of Shareholder Relationship with shareholder incoming enquiries
  • Support the Head of Shareholder Relationship in managing the AGM/EGM meetings with all related preparation and logistics
  • Manage, translate, control, distribute and archive relevant incoming and outgoing correspondence related to the regulators and/or any external and/or internal entities/ parties/ authorities.

Document Management

  • Support in reviewing, translating, documenting and communicating press releases, speeches, and related matters.
  • Manage the flow of documentation and ensure that the archiving is conducted as per the Department’s standard documentation guidelines and/or Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Processing all invoices related to CA (Translators, Authorities, Consultancy; etc…)
  • Support the Corporate Affairs team and attend to assigned tasks that may stretch beyond the role’s listed tasks if needed.
  • Maintain the Bank’s legal/ corporate documentation and records
  • Ensure that all corporate documents are stored in the physical archive in the required order, in accordance with Bank policy
  • Assist in providing the necessary documents and records for audit or other purposes as and when required.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in law or business-related field
