HR administration and employee support
- Create and maintain filing systems and type office correspondence using a computer.
- Distribute and route mail; order and track HR office supplies and forms; answer calls and record messages.
- Create employee personnel files and accurately maintain employee records, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and keep the application area clean, maintained, and accessible.
- Respond to employee and management questions about company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Inform HR management of employee-relations issues within the division or property.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
Service and workplace duties
- Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Welcome guests, communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones appropriately.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, listen and respond to employee concerns, and meet quality standards.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors; move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
