Cook III, Food and Beverage & Culinary category; full-time, non-management position in Doha, Qatar.
The position is not remote and is based at Ras Abu Abboud Street, Doha.
Cooking and station duties
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, storing, washing, and peeling produce, and weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food, including cold foods, to recipes, preparation checklists, and quality and presentation standards.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test food for doneness and monitor food quality.
- Set up and break down the workstation, serve proper portions, and use appropriate receptacles.
- Wash and disinfect the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment; check appliance and food temperatures.
Standards and teamwork
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect company assets, and keep proprietary information confidential.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to coworkers' concerns, and meet quality standards.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical requirements
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least one year of related work experience are preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is specified.
- The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
