Prepare and cook food while meeting recipe, quality, and presentation standards.
Kitchen duties
- Prepare, portion, chop, store, wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Cook and prepare cold foods; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Check food doneness, food quality, and appliance and food temperatures.
- Set up and break down the station; portion and serve food appropriately.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow safety and security policies, complete safety training, and report hazards, accidents, injuries, and maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance, protect company assets and confidential information, and support team goals.
- Meet quality expectations and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical requirements
- Preferred: high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.
- The role involves extended standing, sitting, or walking and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Schedule and location
