Role details

Food preparation and cooking

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, measuring, and mixing.
• Prepare and cook food, including cold dishes, according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test doneness and monitor food quality.
• Plate food in appropriate portions and containers; confirm food and equipment temperatures are appropriate.
• Set up and clean the work area, and clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.

Safety and teamwork

• Follow company and safety procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to a manager.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, and communicate respectfully.
• Support team goals, respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns, and uphold quality standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties as directed by a supervisor.

Preferred qualifications and physical demands

• At least one year of related work experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience or license/certification is listed as required.
• The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
