Cook 2 (Garde Manger) - Full Time

Responsibilities
- · Prepare and present menu items in accordance with Hyatt and culinary standards
- · Support daily Garde Manger operations, including the preparation of salads, cold foods, garnishes, and other menu items
- · Assist banquet culinary operations as needed to support events and business levels
- · Follow established recipes, production sheets, and portion control standards
- · Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards for all food products
- · Properly store, label, rotate, and handle food products in accordance with food safety guidelines
- · Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- · Support multiple kitchen stations as operational needs require
- · Work collaboratively with culinary and food and beverage teams to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- · Uphold sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards in all areas of kitchen operations
- · Promote Hyatt's Culture of Care through teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail
- · A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- · Strong communication and teamwork skills
- · One to two years of previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- · Ability to effectively work a station under supervision and assist across multiple kitchen areas as needed
- · Culinary degree or related hotel culinary experience preferred but not required
- · Knowledge of basic culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
- · Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- · Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate weight, up to 50 pounds
- · Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires
