The client is seeking a Controls Engineer to join its engineering team in the UAE.
The role involves hands-on control systems design, implementation, and maintenance in a technical environment.
Location and workplace
- The position is based in the UAE and is onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial and mechanical applications.
- Program, configure, and maintain PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI panels.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Prepare specifications, wiring diagrams, and commissioning reports.
- Resolve control system faults and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with UAE safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Required experience and qualifications
- Proven Controls Engineer experience in the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI configuration.
- Understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, industrial automation, and control system integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must currently be based in the UAE with valid residency and legal right to work.
Compensation and employment
- The role is full-time and permanent.
