We are currently recruiting for an

Project Contracts Manager

for our client to be based out of their Abu Dhabi office.

Role Summary

The Project Contract Manager supports project teams by helping manage contracts throughout the full project lifecycle.

This role works closely with project management, operations, sourcing, and other internal teams to protect the company’s interests, reduce risk, and support successful project delivery.

The role includes reviewing contracts, managing changes, handling claims, supporting subcontracting activities, and helping resolve contractual issues that arise during project execution

.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contract and tender documents and support effective contract administration.
  • Provide contract and risk analysis during both tendering and project execution stages.
  • Advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and key risks.
  • Support the management of contract changes, variation orders, extension of time requests, claims, and disputes.
  • Help ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements.
  • Work with project teams to identify and manage commercial and contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Support the preparation, review, and administration of subcontracts, ensuring alignment with main contract terms.
  • Draft and review contractual letters, notices, and other project correspondence.
  • Monitor project insurances and support insurance claims when needed.
  • Maintain contract management tools, trackers, and records for changes, claims, notices, warranties, and related items.
  • Participate in meetings and negotiations with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on contractual matters.
  • Provide general contract management support across projects and tenders as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ work experience and 5+ years’ first-hand exposure in Contract Management roles ideally within large infrastructure, construction, energy, or EPC projects.
  • Good understanding of contract administration, claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract law principles.
  • Experience managing contract changes, claims, and project-related risks.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of project planning, controls, and delivery processes.
